The Maison d’Anjali Toulouse is a quaint little hotel with amazing access to the city center. Although on a main road, the quadruple glazing reduces noise levels to almost zero. In fact, when I checked in the receptionist showed me the room and we could hear a pin drop!
The Maison d’Anjali Building
The building is an old French style house with five bedrooms on the ground floor. The family lives upstairs and there is a large garden with two chicken. The conservatory serves as the breakfast area and there is a living space with two sofas. The only thing I didn’t like was the red corridor, but otherwise all five star.
The breakfast at the Maison d’Anjali is fresh bread, home-made jam and eggs from the domestic chicken! All superbly tasty food, leaving you wanting even more.
My room was the Cinema Paradiso, which is a cinema themed room. There is a huge TV, a DVD-player and all sorts of DVDs to watch. I chose Martin Scorcese’s Taxi Driver for the evening.
