I stayed at the All Seasons Paris Gare De L’Est Chateau Landon Hotel for one night in March 2012. It was a business trip to visit a conference and only stayed for the night. The last Eurostar took me from London to Paris and I needed something near the railway station.

Arriving at the Gare de L’Est, turn left at the main gate and walk straight on. The hotel is about 200 meters up the street, literally on the tracks of Gare de L’Est.

Room With A View

My room was on the seventh floor on the station’s side. It was nice and quiet and I could see the city and the station from the window. The window actually opened completely, unlike in many other hotels. When the window was closed, the room was quiet – I hardly heard any trains passing by. It may be noisier in the lower rooms, but up there I had no complaints.

The reception was very visible and the staff were friendly, so I had absolutely no complaints. They stored my bag free of charge and they were very helpful so I would recommend this hotel.
