The B&B Hotel Toulouse Center is a budget hotel in northern Toulouse, just in front of the famous canal. The B&B Hotel is on Boulevard Embouchure in Toulouse and belongs to a large chain that operates more than 200 budget hotels in western Europe.
The rooms at Hotel B&B looked very clean in a high rise building with free parking, a microwave, tea and coffee facilities and a wending machine.
Breakfast was not included in the price but I did not mind as I wanted to get a proper French breakfast and not something in a cheap chain hotel.
Cost of the Room
The room cost £43 for the night which I booked on Booking.com using the app. I stayed here for one night on 4 June 2017 during a business trip visiting my colleagues.
Finding the B&B Hotel was quite easy, especially that I took a taxi there from the airport. The only problem was the GPS in the driver’s car made a mistake and it dropped me off at the back by the local housing estate.

The housing estate looked fine but then I had to walk to the main road the other side of the building where the entrance to Hotel B&B was.
The check in process was pretty swift and they even gave me a room on a high floor as I requested.
The Breakfast Room
The receptionist then gave me a map and explained the way into town, which was on the other side of the canal, about 15 minutes walk away through the park.
So once I dropped my bags off I went out looking for dinner in downtown Toulouse.
The room itself was very neat and tidy with an en-suite bathroom that had a shower and a tap plus the toilet and a heating unit. It must have all been painted fresh as the room smelled really nice and squeking clean.
The bed was comfortable and firm with two pillows on each side of the double. There was a built-in bedside cabinet on each side of the bed plus a desk and a chair by the double glazed window. The views were not exactly spectacular as I was at the back of the hotel overlooking the nearby high rise residential buildings but at least it was quite as I could not hear the cars.
The Bedroom Upstairs
As usual the TV only had local and national French channels and some German so I watched the news for about 10 minutes and then I fell asleep not understanding anything.
As I did not have breakfast and I was only staying for one night I dropped the keys off in the morning and disappeared into the Toulouse underground network on my way to work in Labege, the south of the city.
