Grotte de Niaoux is the place where you will find the ancient cave paintings. Walking around here is quite a nice experience because the cave is only about an hour and a half away from Toulouse, yet it feels completely isolated.

The cave paintings are one of the oldest in Europe and the tour takes more than two hours. The people that painted the walls were the hunters and gatherers of their time about 28,000 years ago. Watch the below video to find out more and hear a Catalan woman sing inside the cave.
